With all of that said, I've been thinking about getting a GTX 1660 Super, as it could've been from a mining rig but for a much shorter period, as it was released much later. Hope you're all doing well.Īs I'm watching the used market GPU prices melt in the aftermath of the Ethereum change and the 'death of mining', I'm starting to think this is a good moment to upgrade from my GTX 1050Ti. The gamepad was only 10 bucks and if it looked or felt cheap I'd probably send it back but it's actually really nice - feels hefty, buttons are good and actually feels like a quality gamepad, so worth the effort, IMO. So before I go installing and disabling things and probably making things worse - any advice from the gurus? (I can provide any other info you might need). Googling brought me to (install xboxdrv? it is not installed, I checked) and a possible way to disable the extras here: I then ran xinput list and it shows up 3 times there (see xinput.png). Started investigating and installed jstest and it reports FOUR joysticks connected (see jstest.png). Couldn't fix it in steam then noticed it shows up in steam twice (see steam.png).

I tried using it on a few games in Steam and it almost works but a few buttons and axes aren't right. I just picked up a PXN-P3 Gamepad on Amazon that doesn't say it supports linux but says it's Xbox 360 compatible and works on linux, Android, and IOS. I've been using steam with a couple of different gamepads with no problems.
